Jack Ritter, Co-Editor in Chief of LHSBudget.com

In my second year on staff, I've taken on the Co-Editor in Chief role for LHSBudget.com. I'm very excited to lead the website this year and contribute to our award-winning staff and publication. This summer, I had the opportunity to write for the Lawrence Times. I plan to use this experience to better not only my writing but my staff as well. You can read some of my work here.

When I'm not writing, I serve as Vice-Chair of the Special Olympics Kansas (SOKS) Youth Activation Committee (YAC) as one of two ambassadors representing Lawrence High to the board. Also, I sit on the SOKS Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee. At Lawrence High, I'm the boys basketball head manager, and I'm a member of IPS (Including People Selflessly), a cappella choir, and chorale. District-wide, I sit on the USD 497 Superintendent's Student Advisory Board and USD 497 Futures Planning Committee.

If you have a tip or a story idea, email me at [email protected].
