My chronicle began the Monday of senior week. Mondays have, quite frankly, never been my forte, but this one especially turned out to be quite unpleasant.
LHS’s mascot, the Chesty Lion, had his birthday celebrated this day. During lunch, all students were given ice-cream, brownies, and cookies. The gesture was appreciated, sure, but it boggles ones mind where the funds for these festivities came from.
In a fairly mean-spirited prank, many students had their hair involuntarily removed. Unfortunately, the seniors were scapegoated with the whole ordeal.
In a particularly harsh prank, room 155, the photo room, was filled up with balloons. Many aspiring photographers suffered.
It was the big day, when everyone could see the much anticipated senior prank. The one which they claimed would trump previous years, would bring down walls and rival the end of days. Instead, we got a rotunda filled with Styrofoam cups and flour.
