  • On Friday, Feb. 26, physics teacher Andy Bricker earned the Kansas State Department of Education’s Horizon Award as an exemplary novice educator.
  • Choir Director Cathy Crispino was presented the District Secondary Education Teacher of the Year Award by Superintendent Rick Doll, Monday, March 1.
  • Students kindergarten to 12th grade do not have school from Friday, March 12 – Sunday, March 21, for spring break.
  • There will be a Douglas County 4-H competition from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 13, in the auditorium.
  • The varsity baseball team, ranked 37th nationally, will be playing its first game against Blue Springs South High School at 7 p.m. Friday, March 26, at the LHS stadium.
