The EP by Cavalier in Clay titled She is stunning. This unknown artist (seriously 148 youtube views max), has quite a bit of talent at the tips of his fingers. Not to mention the boyish singing found desirable in other such artists like Bright Eyes. It’s a conceptual album describing a series of dreams Brady Sklar (16) had about a girl.

The album starts out with a some warm acoustics in the song With My ____, and tugs at you with its piercing harmonies later in the same song. Linger follows with a more melancholy tune in the fashion of The Kooks. There Is comes back with a more positive vibe, not sacrificing crucial heartfelt lyrics. The title track She has its melodramatic roots based off of Brady Sklar’s dreams he experienced, and is really the epitome of talent in this album, and shows that the vast dynamics found in this artist’s style. Finishing off with Let Go (after all, it is just a 5 song EP) will leave you with a smile on your face and a tear in your eye.
