Monday, Feb. 12
Fellowship of Christian Students meets at 7 a.m. for bible study in Room 162. All students who wish to participate are welcome to attend. Also, FCS members would like to pray for you if you have needs that you would like to share. Use the QR codes posted around the building to submit your prayer requests.
Writers Club meets at 3:15 p.m. in Room 217 (Ms. Johnson’s room). Students who enjoy creative writing can come and write with others. Members will share prompts with each other, write together, and volunteers are welcome to share their work.
Boys basketball plays at Olathe North at home. Freshman A team plays at 4 p.m., freshman team B plays at 5:30 p.m., and the boys sophomore team plays at 7 p.m.
Girls C team basketball plays Olathe North at home at 5:30 p.m.
Tuesday, Feb. 13
Chesty’s Academy Tutoring is offered 3:15-5 p.m. each Tuesday and Thursday in Room 212 (Ms. Henry’s Room) for anyone who needs help with homework after school.
Pride Club meets from 3:15-4:15 p.m. in room 328.
Pokemon Club meets from 3:15-4:15 p.m. in room 326.
Girls basketball plays at Olathe North at home. JV plays at 4 p.m. and varsity plays at 5:30 p.m.

Wednesday, Feb. 14
Françamis: The French Club meets from 1:30-2:45 p.m. in the French Room, Room 353.
LASO Club meets at 1:40 p.m. in room 341
Thursday, Feb. 15
Chesty’s Academy Tutoring is offered from 3:15-5 p.m. each Tuesday and Thursday in Room 212 (Ms. Henry’s Room) for anyone who needs help with homework after school.
Philosophy Club meets 3:15-4:15 p.m. in Ms. Murray’s room, Room 211 to discuss mind-boggling questions and moral dilemmas — all the while in a safe and honest environment.
Boys basketball competes at Free State. Freshman A team plays at 3:45 p.m., sophomore team plays at 5:30 p.m., and JV plays at 7 p.m.
Girls basketball competes at Free State. The C team and JV play at 5:30 p.m.
Friday, Feb. 16
Fellowship of Christian Students meets at 7 a.m. on Mondays and Fridays in room 148. Students are invited to build caring friendships, strengthen their faith, pray for our school, and serve the community.
Boys and girls varsity basketball compete at FSHS. Girls play at 5:30 p.m. and boys play at 7 p.m
Saturday, Feb. 17
Bocce ball tournament in the East and West gym at 8 a.m.
The Polar Plunge is in between the gyms at 1:45 p.m.

The Optimist Oratorical Contest is a speech contest where students can win thousands of dollars in scholarship money for writing, memorizing, and delivering an amazing speech. This year’s topic is: “How to Change the World with Optimism”. The first stage of the contest will be held on Feb. 26. Interested students should contact Mr. Plinsky in room 259.
