Monday, Dec. 4

Fellowship of Christian Students meets at 7 a.m. on Mondays for Bible study and Fridays for prayer in Room 162. All students who wish to participate are welcome to attend. Also, FCS members would like to pray for you if you have needs that you would like to share. Use the QR codes posted around the building to submit your prayer requests.

Writers Club meets at 3:15 p.m. in Room 217 (Ms. Johnson’s room). Students who enjoy creative writing can come and write with others. Members will share prompts with each other, write together, and volunteers are welcome to share their work.

 

Tuesday, Dec. 5

Club Photo Day is Tuesday, Dec. 5 in the main gym. If you participate in a club, please check the schedule for your photo times, leave class at the dismissal time, and join your group for your photo. Schedules are posted on yellow posters around the building and on lhsbudget.com. Teachers — we’ll keep an up-to-date list of students who attend group photos. Check your email for details as the big day approaches.  

Chesty’s Academy Tutoring is offered 3:15-5 p.m. each Tuesday and Thursday in Room 212 (Ms. Henry’s Room) for anyone who needs help with homework after school.

Pride Club meets every Tuesday from 3:15-4:15 p.m. in room 328.

Pokemon Club meets every Tuesday from 3:15-4:15 p.m. in room 326.

Varsity boys basketball competes in a tournament at 4:45 p.m. at Blue Valley. 

JV girls basketball competes at 5:30 p.m., followed by varsity at 7 p.m., at Washington.

Track and field has a meeting in the cafeteria at 6:30 p.m.

 

Wednesday, Dec. 6

Book Club meets at 1:35 p.m. in Room 217 (Ms. Johnson’s room).

Françamis: The French Club meets from 1:30-2:45 p.m. in the French Room, Room 353.

Can We Talk & SAFE club will have a meeting this Wednesday in room 203 at 1:30  p.m. At the end of sixth hour, grab and eat your lunch, and then meet us in room 203. Snacks will be provided. New members are always welcome. 

Environmental club will have their upcycled crafts party at 1:35 p.m. in room 197.

LASO Club meets at 1:40 p.m. in room 341.

 

Thursday, Dec. 7

Chesty’s Academy Tutoring is offered from 3:15-5 p.m. each Tuesday and Thursday in Room 212 (Ms. Henry’s Room) for anyone who needs help with homework after school.

Philosophy Club meets 3:15-4:15 p.m. in Ms. Murray’s room, Room 211 to discuss mind-boggling questions and moral dilemmas — all the while in a safe and honest environment. 

Pride club is having a cash-only bake sale in the cafeteria after school. 

Band has a concert at 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium.

 


Friday, Dec. 8

Fellowship of Christian Students meets at 7 a.m. on Mondays and Fridays in Room 148. Students are invited to build caring friendships, strengthen their faith, pray for our school, and serve the community.

Lady Lions Basketball has its home opener on Friday, December 8th. If you haven’t picked up your activity ticket yet pick it up in the main office.
