Monday, Oct. 23

JV football has a game at Shawnee Mission South District Stadium against Shawnee Mission West at 6 p.m.

Tuesday, Oct. 24

Chesty’s Academy Tutoring is offered 3:15-5 p.m. each Tuesday and Thursday in Room 212 (Ms. Henry’s Room) for anyone who needs help with homework after school.

Pride Club meets every Tuesday from 3:15-4:15 p.m. in room 328.

Pokemon Club meets every Tuesday from 3:15-4:15 p.m. in room 326.

Unified bowling competes in an invitational at Royal Crest Lanes at 3:30 p.m.

Varsity soccer has a regionals match at Mill Valley at 6 p.m.

Wednesday, Oct. 25

PSAT in the West gym and Learning Commons at 7:30 a.m.

Book Club meets at 1:35 p.m. in Room 217 (Ms. Johnson’s room).

Françamis: The French Club meets from 1:30-2:45 p.m. in the French Room, Room 353.

Can We Talk & SAFE club will have a meeting this Wednesday in room 203 at 1:30  p.m. At the end of sixth hour, grab and eat your lunch, and then meet us in room 203. Snacks will be provided. New members are always welcome. 

LASO Club meets at 1:40 p.m. in room 341.

Girls wrestling has a parent meeting in the Learning Commons at 6 p.m.

LHS Powder Puff Football registration is due by 2 p.m. on Oct. 25 to Coach Trow. Games will be 1-5 p.m. Oct. 29 in the LHS Stadium. The Flag Football event will feature female, female identifying/presenting and non-binary students. All other students may sign up as coaches and/or cheerleaders with a team registration. Students can pick up a team registration form from Coach Trow’s room (281). There is a $5 registration fee for each student listed on a team.

Thursday, Oct. 26

Chesty’s Academy Tutoring is offered 3:15-5 p.m. each Tuesday and Thursday in Room 212 (Ms. Henry’s Room) for anyone who needs help with homework after school.

Philosophy Club meets 3:15-4:15 p.m. in Ms. Murray’s room, Room 211 to discuss mind-boggling questions and moral dilemmas — all the while in a safe and honest environment.

Boys swim and dive has a parent meeting in the atrium at 6 p.m.

Lawrence High Theatre presents Night of the Living Dead in the auditorium at 7 p.m.

Friday, Oct. 27

Fellowship of Christian Students meets at 7 a.m. on Mondays and Fridays in Room 148. Students are invited to build caring friendships, strengthen their faith, pray for our school, and serve the community.

Varsity football has its first post-season game against Dodge City at 7 p.m. The theme is pink-out in honor of breast cancer awareness. Marching band will play its lights-out show after the game.

Saturday, Oct. 28

Girls basketball has pre season conditioning at 7 a.m. in the main gym.

Lawrence High Theatre presents Night of the Living Dead (understudy performance) in the auditorium at 2 p.m. Then, a main cast performance at 7 p.m.

Sunday, Oct. 29
