Monday, Sept. 12

Pre-Med Club meeting at 3:15 p.m. in Ms. Leuschen’s Room (Room 154). All are welcome.

Wrestling pre-season workouts begin. Workouts will take place 3:30-5 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Meet in the West Gym Lobby. Preseason workouts continue through Oct. 28.

Fellowship of Christian Students meets 3:15-4 p.m. in Room 162. For students interested in building caring friendships, strengthening their faith and praying for our school. See Ms. Reimers if you have questions.

Varsity Girls Golf competes against Gardner Edgerton, Free State, Mill Valley, Olathe East, Olathe North, Olathe Northwest, Olathe South, Shawnee Mission East, Shawnee Mission North, Shawnee Mission Northwest, Shawnee Mission South and Shawnee Mission West starting at 1 p.m. at Prairie Highlands Golf Course.

Varsity Tennis hosts a quad starting at 3 p.m. at home.

Tuesday, Sept. 13

Chesty Academy After School Tutoring takes place 3:15-5 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday in Ms. Henry’s room (Room 212).

Varsity Girls Golf competes against Olathe South starting at 1 p.m. at Heritage Golf Course.

JV Boys Soccer plays Gardner Edgerton starting at 5 p.m. at home.

Wednesday, Sept. 14

Writers Club meets at 1:40 p.m. in Ms. Johnson’s room (Room 217). Come for a chance to write and share your work in a supportive environment.

Varsity Tennis competes at an invitational starting at 9 a.m. at Kossover Tennis Courts in Topeka. Opponents include Junction City, Olathe East, Shawnee Heights, Highland Park, Topeka West and Wichita Southeast.

JV Tennis competes in a quad starting at 3:30 p.m. at home.

C and Freshmen Volleyball teams complete in a tri starting at 5 p.m. at Shawnee Mission East.

Freshmen Boys Soccer plays Mill Valley starting at 6:30 p.m. at home. 

Thursday, Sept. 15

Friday, Sept. 16

ACT Test Registration Regular Deadline to register without facing a late fee for the Oct. 22 test. Late registration (with late fee) is Sept. 30. Register at this link.

Varsity Football plays Shawnee Mission East at 7 p.m. on the road at Shawnee Mission North District Stadium.

Saturday, Sept. 17

C-Team Volleyball competes in a tournament at Free State at 8 a.m. Opponents include Blue Valley North, Blue Valley Northwest, Olathe East, Olathe North, Shawnee Mission North, Shawnee Mission Northwest and Shawnee Mission West.

Varsity Cross Country runs at Baldwin Golf Course at 8:30 a.m. Opponents include Shawnee Heights, Olathe East, Topeka West,Washburn Rural, St. James Academy, Saint Thomas Aquinas, Blue Valley North, Blue Valley Southwest, Emporia, Shawnee Mission East, Mill Valley, USD 345, Shawnee Mission West, Free State, Olathe West, Topeka and Highland Park.

JV Volleyball hosts an invitational at 9 a.m. at home. Opponents include Blue Valley West, Olathe North, Shawnee Mission West and Wichita Trinity Academy.

Varsity Gymnastics is on the road for an invitational starting at 10 a.m. at Shawnee Mission Northwest. Opponents include Emporia, Free State, Newton, Olathe East, Olathe North, Olathe Northwest, Olathe South, Olathe West and Shawnee Mission East.

Unified Bowling Forms Deadline: For students interested in Unified Bowling, the last day to submit the required athlete forms is Sept. 19. All required forms must be uploaded on www.registermyathlete.com and marked complete to participate in tryouts on Sept. 26.
