The Budget recently interviewed new freshmen Student Council members Nicole Owens, Macey Sutter, and Stevan Petrovic. Here are there interviews:
The Budget: What’s your role in STUCO?
Nicole Owens: I am student council freshmen class president
Macey Sutter: I’m the secretary.
Stefan Petrovic: I’m freshman representative
TB:What’s your favorite class in school?
NO: I really like my weights class.
SP: AP Euro. I really like history.
MS: Ceramics
TB: What’s the best part of being in STUCO?
MS: I just really like being a part of all the stuff they do.
NO: You get to know a lot of older kids. And you get involved in a lot of school activities.
SP: I think being able to help the school and, you know, the social aspect of it.
TB: Do you plan on running for STUCO again in the future?
NO: Yes!
SP: Possibly. It can be tough to juggle sometimes because there’s a lot of things that you have to do for it but possibly.
MS: Yeah.
TB: In your opinion why is it important to have school spirit?
SP: So we can have good relationships amongst the student body and help out people.
MS: Without it [school spirit] it would be really boring and no one would go to football games and stuff.
NO: Because you only go to high school once and so you wanna be the most involved you can be!
TB: If you could time travel with anyone who would you take and where would you go?
MS: I’d take Justin Bieber and I would go back to the pilgrim days and be a pilgrim.
NO: I would probably take my sister and I’d go to the future, like year 3000.
SP: Probably Chuck Norris and I’d go to the 80’s and beat people up together.
TB: If you could have an unlimited supply of anything what would you choose?
NO: Probably Panera bagels
SP: Bacon
MS: Pop tarts!
TB: iPhone or Android?
SP: Android!
MS: iPhone
