On Thursday May 9^th the Varsity Lady Lions softball team took the field to play the across town rival, Free State. The Lions Junior left fielder Andrea Mills it a home run mid game, stirring up excitement for the home team. Unfortunately this excitement wasn’t enough as the lions fell to the firebirds in a 7-4 loss.
