Jacob Unruh, senior

What was your most memorable play this season?

“In the last game against Shawnee Mission North, I had a sack that the guy lost 20 yards on. It’s a play that I won’t ever forget individually.”

What was it like being a senior on the team? Did you have more leadership?

“I’ve been a type of leader since my sophomore year, but this year I was probably one of the main leaders of the team. I could speak out to everyone and they knew that I wanted the best for them. They all listened to me and they would understand what I needed from them every game.”

What did you enjoy most about this season?

What emotions ran through you when you found out you made sunflower league?
