This was a piece i created for my AP concentration, not assigned.

What contest did you submit it to and what did it win?

I submitted it to Merriam Visual Arts competition and won 2nd place.

What was your inspiration?

My dad’s extreme expressions.

What’s your piece about?

My piece is about my father and his reaction to a certain smell .

What’s your favorite thing about your piece and why?

My favorite thing about it is how fun it was to make, I didn’t really think about painting too much i just had fun with it.

What’s your favorite medium and why?

My favorite medium is oil paint because it allows you to try out a lot of techniques and it’s easy to blend.

Why do you like to create?

I like to create because it makes me really happy and relaxed. I don’t think about anything else while I’m painting.
