The Budget has confirmed that the vandalism to a school bus last week also targeted LHS.

Sunday evening, pictures of the First Student school bus vandalism circulated around Twitter. The photos showed two sides of the bus, covered in profanities — including a derogatory term for white people — directed at Free State.

However, the photos that swept social media only told part of the story. When asked about the content of the graffiti, district communications director Julie Boyle just confirmed the vandals also added obscene language directed toward LHS students.

The additional messages haven’t appeared in public since the words directed toward LHS were painted on the back of the bus–which was not displayed in any of the viral photos.

No word on the identity of the perpetrator(s).
