Spring is upon us (supposedly, but with that snow flurry yesterday I’m not buying it) and the end of the school year is looming ahead. I have just finished writing my last story for my last issue of The Budget. I will never write another story for this newspaper, and that’s bittersweet.
I’m excited to be done, to never have to worry about another newspaper deadline again, but I’m also sad. I will miss the staff, and my teacher, and the chaotic flurry of activity in the newspaper room. That being said, I’m also ready.
I’m ready to move forward into my future. I will always remember my time at Lawrence High with fondness, and I have made some awesome memories that I will carry with me forever. It’s time to say goodbye to high school though and I’m ready to do that.
So without further ado I must say: goodbye Lawrence High.
