In spring 1970, brothers John and Michael Spearman helped to lead an LHS student protest fighting for Black student rights and representation. On May 2, they returned to LHS for the first time in many years to tour the building and sit for a recorded discussion with LHS journalism editors Tessa Collar and Cuyler Dunn.
